About The Theatre<\/a> Seating Plan<\/a><\/p>\n

One of the largest West End theatres, with over 2000 seats, the Dominion Theatre opened as a cinema in October 1929. Along with playing movies, the theatre also had a lot of live performances – some of the more popular names to have performed at the venue include Duran Duran, U2, and David Bowie. The Dominion Theatre is now part of the Nederlander Organization, which along with operating 9 theatres in Broadway, owns three theatres in West End (the other two being Aldwych Theatre and Adelphi Theatre).<\/p>\n

It was almost demolished in 1991, but was saved by aggressive campaigning and has played host to musicals almost exclusively since \u2013 shows from Grease, to the record-breaking run of We Will Rock You, The Bodyguard, and was also home to the Broadway-transfer of An American in Paris. Accessible Seating<\/h3>\n

The main foyer has step-free level access from the street through double doors. However, as the level does not have seating, it is advised that patrons contact door staff upon arrival to be guided to the seats.<\/p>\n

Please note that due to the number of stairs, it is advised that patrons with limited mobility do not purchase tickets for the Circle section.<\/p>\n

Available Facilities<\/h3>\n

Assistive Listening System<\/b>: You can ask a member of staff upon arrival for help. The Dominion Theatre has an infrared hearing system with two choices of receivers – headsets and neck loops.<\/p>\n

Cloakroom<\/b>: A cloakroom is available at the Circle Level, which opens 45 minutes before the performance. You will be charged \u00a31 per item when you avail this.<\/p>\n

Guide Dogs<\/b>: The Dominion Theatre allows guide dogs in the theatre. In case you deem the sound too loud, the theatre staff is happy to look after your guide dog.<\/p>\n

Toilets<\/b>: Male and female toilets are located in the Stalls at the front and rear on each side, with the front left and rear right toilets have level access. There is also an accessible toilet in the Stall level. In the Circle level, the toilets are located at the centre and rear of the right hand side, and towards the centre of the left hand side.<\/p>\n

Wheelchair<\/b>: Wheelchair spaces are in the Stalls and must be booked in advance. The Nederlander Box has space for three wheelchairs, along with three companions, and accessible toilets. Stalls ZZ50, YY50, and XX50 can be removed to accommodate one wheelchair.<\/p>\n
