About The Theatre<\/a> Seating Chart<\/a><\/p>\n

The Broadhurst Theatre opened in 1917 as a collaboration between playwright George H. Broadhurst and the prolific Shubert brothers (now the Shubert Organization, which owns around 24 venues on Broadway). It has remained a steadily booked theater over the years, with actors including Leslie Howard, Katherine Hepburn and Diane Keaton performing at the venue.<\/p>\n

The Broadhurst Theatre was built as an unofficial twin for the Plymouth Theatre (now Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre) which opened around the same time. Regular Broadway architect Herbert J. Krapp designed them identically on the outside \u2013 with plain brick and simple terracotta trimmings \u2013 and the interior of the Broadhurst is clean and subtle, with Greek-inspired decorative friezes and columns.<\/p>\n

Orchestra<\/strong>: The Broadhurst Theatre Orchestra is step-free for all patrons. There are six wheelchair viewing spaces in rows K and O in the Left and Right Orchestra, and row Q in the Center Orchestra. There are also five transfer seats on the aisles across rows J, O, R and S.Mezzanine<\/strong>: The Mezzanine is located up one flight of stairs, with a further two steps down to each row. There are eight transfer seats in the section, across aisles in rows B, F, G, H and K. Handrails are available at the end of every row for easier access.<\/p>\n

Restroom<\/strong>: Wheelchair accessible restroom is located on the main level. Additional restrooms are located down 1 flight of stairs. Hearing Assistance<\/strong>: Assisted Listening Devices, Closed Captioning, & Audio Description available. Accessible Seating<\/strong>: Wheelchair accessible seats are located in the orchestra. Aisle seats with folding armrests are available in the Orchestra and Mezzanine. Wheelchair Access<\/strong>: Theater is not completely wheelchair accessible.
