1<\/span>Australasia<\/h3>\n

Showcases unique wildlife from regions of Australia and New Guinea \ud83e\udd98 This zone features: Tree kangaroos, Wallabies, Grey kangaroos, and Cassowaries.<\/p>\n

2<\/span>Elephants of Asia<\/h3>\n

Since their domestication over 4,000 years ago, elephants have become a significant influence on Asian culture. This Burmese-style architecture zone covers one hectare of land and showcases an all-female herd of the largest living land animals. <\/p>\n

3<\/span>Fragile Forest<\/h3>\n

This zone is a 20,000 cubic meter biodome that mimics a tropical rainforest. A journey through this zone will take you through layers of rainforest, as you encounter its furry and feathered inhabitants. \ud83c\udf33 This zone features: Common crowned pigeons, Eclectus parrot, Golden lion tamarin, Jungle nymph, Lesser mousedeer, Malayan flying fox, Malayan horned frog, Nicobar pigeon, Pied imperial pigeon, Prevost\u2019s squirrel, River toad, Spotted whistling duck, Two-toed sloth, White-faced saki monkey and Zebra dove. <\/p>\n

4<\/span>Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia<\/h3>\n

This zone recreates the extraordinary landscape of the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia and allows visitors to explore the unique Ethiopian culture.\u26f0\ufe0f The zone features: Hamadryas baboon, meerkats, Nubian ibexes, and Black-backed Jackals.<\/p>\n

5<\/span>Orangutan Island and Boardwalk<\/h3>\n

Orangutans are the great apes of Asia and this zone is dedicated only to them. Explore the world\u2019s first free-ranging orangutan exhibit, where visitors can witness these incredible creatures, swinging or foraging for food with 360\u00b0 views in a unique naturalistic environment. \ud83e\udda7 This zone features a family of orangutans, namely: Binton, Labu, Satria, Suria, and Veera.<\/p>\n

6<\/span>Primate Kingdom<\/h3>\n

In this zone each primate species is assigned its own \u2018island\u2019. To recreate their natural habitat, the zoo has planted plentiful trees, wild grasses, ginger, palm, and bamboo for lush greenery. \ud83d\udc12 The zone features: Cotton-top tamarin, Eastern black-and-white colobus monkey, Red-shanked douc langur, Ring-tailed lemur, and White-faced saki monkey.<\/p>\n

7<\/span>Reptile Kingdom<\/h3>\n

This zone is home to a wide variety of reptiles and amphibians. The exhibit are designed to mimic the natural habitat of the reptiles and allows visitors to observe and understand their behavior and importance in the ecosystem. \ud83e\udd8e This zone features: Aldabra giant tortoise, Estuarine crocodile and Komodo dragons.<\/p>\n

8<\/span>RepTopia<\/h3>\n

A snake-tacular zone in Singapore Zoo, RepTopia is home to over 60 species of reptiles and amphibians, a third of which have never been seen here before.\ud83d\udc38 This zone features: Amazon milk frog, Panther chameleon, Gaboon viper, Golden poison frog, Green basilisk, Regal horned lizard and Roti snake-necked turtle.<\/p>\n

9<\/span>Tortoise Shell-ter<\/h3>\n

This zone is a naturalistic habitat that features the chelonian collection in an optimum condition, allowing them to breed and display their natural behaviours. Observe and learn about some of the world\u2019s rarest species of tortoises. \ud83d\udc22 This zone features: The Burmese star tortoise, The Indian star tortoise, and the red footed and yellow footed tortoise as well. <\/p>\n

10<\/span>Treetops Trail<\/h3>\n

This zone houses a fantastic range of animals like the siamangs and gharials. Replicating a rainforest, this zone showcases animals at different layers of the forest, from water to treetops. As you step into this zone, the first sounds you hear are definitely going to be that of the Siamangs pair – Anna and Ako, with their loud booms and barks. \ud83d\udc0a This zone features: False gharial, Greater mousedeer, and Siamang. <\/p>\n

11<\/span>Wild Africa<\/h3>\n

Housing a myriad of African plain creatures the Wild Africa zone is designed to mimic the diverse range of habitats seen in Africa, from tropical rainforests to harsh deserts. From the herbivorous hoofstock like zebras and giraffes to predators like cheetahs and lions, this zone is a mixed habitat.\ud83c\udf0d This zone features: African painted dogs, African lions, Giraffes, Meerkats, White rhinoceros, and more.<\/p>\n

Home of the Ranger Buddies*, this zone has something for every child – from up-close animal interactions to interactive (water and sensory) play.
