Not only is the city great for sightseeing, shopping and exploring – with or without kids – there are just so many attractions, tours, and activities for you to tick off. Sure it\u2019s a rather small city-country, but with so much to do, you will want a budget-friendly way to travel. Say hello to the Singapore City Pass.<\/p>\n

Designed for visitors who want to explore every nook and cranny of the city in an organized and budget-friendly way, it typically includes free entry to popular destinations such as the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, and Universal Studios Singapore. Some versions of the pass also provide hop-on hop-off bus tours, river cruises, and discounts at select dining and shopping venues. The pass is available for different durations, like one, two, or three days, catering to short-term visitors. We highly recommend it. Trust us.<\/p>\n

But then again, if you need more convincing, Iisa Hero<\/strong> used the Singapore City Pass and she told us all about what she found most useful.<\/p>\n

Easy, handy, and comprehensive!<\/p>\n

HOW DID THE SINGAPORE CITY PASS CATER TO YOUR SPECIFIC INTERESTS OR TRAVEL STYLE? <\/b><\/p>\n

The attractions were suited to my preferences as the pass included admission to many of the top sights in Singapore. I enjoy checking out the top attractions in each city I visit so I felt the pass satisfied my needs for the trip.<\/p>\n

However, some of the options on the pass would not have suited my travel style, for example, virtual reality experiences are not really something I look for when traveling to other countries and cities since I feel like I could do them elsewhere instead of using my limited time in a new place.<\/p>\n

My favorite experiences on the Go City Pass in Singapore were Universal Studios Singapore and Gardens by the Bay: Flower Dome & Cloud Forest. I think Universal Studios was of amazing value as theme parks, especially Universal Studios, are usually quite expensive to visit and not often included in city passes for that reason. Gardens by the Bay, on the other hand, is such a unique attraction and different from most other attractions on the Singapore pass, as well as city passes elsewhere.<\/p>\n

COULD YOU TELL US ABOUT A DAY YOU SPENT USING THE SINGAPORE CITY PASS, DETAILING WHAT YOU DID, SAW, AND HIGHLIGHT HOW THE PASS MADE IT ALL EASIER? <\/b><\/p>\n

On one of my days in Singapore using the City Pass, I started visiting Gardens by the Bay, then continuing to Floral Fantasy in the same area, and then taking the Singapore DUCKtours tour, also located nearby. Afterward, I took public transportation to the Singapore Zoo for River Wonders and Night Safari. The pass made the process of visiting multiple attractions easier as I knew I already had the tickets for each attraction and didn\u2019t need to make any purchases or reservations online or in person.<\/p>\n

I think authentic local interactions are an aspect the City Pass could focus on more as I felt there were not too many options for attractions or experiences that focus on local people. However, my personal choices affected this as I chose many of the tourist attractions instead of some of the more authentic experiences available on the Pass.<\/p>\n

WHAT WERE SOME LESSER-KNOWN OR UNIQUE EXPERIENCES INCLUDED IN THE PASS THAT YOU WOULD HAVE MISSED HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE PASS?<\/b><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t feel that any of the attractions I visited with the Pass were lesser-known but I think at least Floral Fantasy is a place I would not have visited without the Pass.<\/p>\n

I think the Pass is great value for anyone who wants to visit multiple attractions in Singapore. I would recommend carefully reading through instructions, for example noting that it\u2019s possible the Pass might not work for exactly 24 hours from the moment you start using it. It\u2019s also good to plan a little bit in advance to make sure not to miss any reservations you have to make online before visiting some of the most popular attractions.<\/p>\n

SO, SHOULD SOMEONE DEFINITELY GET THE PASS? <\/b><\/p>\n

I think passes help me gain a more comprehensive view of the city as a tourist since most of the top attractions are included. But, they also make the travel experience a bit hectic, so I would recommend not using a city pass every day on a trip to save some time for slower exploring and getting to know the culture and locals.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
