All right, Donkey! The celebrated Broadway and West End hit currently enchanting audiences on its tour, Shrek the Musical, heads to West End for a special six-week stint at the iconic Eventim Apollo<\/a> in Hammersmith during the summer of 2024.<\/p>\n

The cast and creatives<\/h2>\n

Antony Lawrence<\/b> steps into the role of Shrek, with Joanne Clifton<\/b> as Princess Fiona, James Gillan<\/b> as Lord Farquaad, Brandon Lee Sears<\/b> as Donkey, and Cherece Richards<\/b> as Dragon, all ready to grace the stage at London’s Eventim Apollo from July 19 to August 31, 2024. Produced by Mark Goucher<\/b>, Matthew Gale<\/b>, and Gavin Kalin<\/b>, this beloved fairy-tale universe of Shrek undergoes a creative transformation under a new team. Bringing to life the iconic characters from the Oscar\u00ae-winning DreamWorks animated film, the production features the timeless songs and storyline by David Lindsay-Abaire<\/b> and Jeanine Tesori<\/b> from the original musical.<\/p>\n

The accomplished creative team includes director and choreographer Nick Winston<\/b>, co-director Sam Holmes<\/b> (who previously portrayed Lord Farquaad in the UK tour), set and costume designer Philip Witcomb<\/b>, lighting designer Ben Cracknell<\/b>, casting director Jim Arnold<\/b>, sound designer Ben Harrison<\/b>, and projection designer Nina Dunn<\/b>.<\/p>\n
