Once the actors appear on stage, it is all improvised from there. Freestyle Love Supreme was conceptualized by the trio fifteen years ago. It was never planned for a Broadway stage, but with the amalgamation of different forms of performances, it was not long before the show found a throng of loyal followers. The first run of Freestyle Love Supreme was at Ars Nova. The production caught the eye of many patrons and a number of one-off shows were organized. The show reached its penultimate stage of success during its recent off-Broadway run.<\/p>\n

Freestyle Love Supreme: Broadway Plot<\/h2>\n

In this fast-paced show, you will see six performers come out all guns blazing with musical numbers, humorous quips, and spontaneous cues. Jelly Donut, King Sherman, Arthur the Geniuses, UTK, Shockwave, and Two-Touch take center stage during the performance. They sing full musical numbers as well as exchange small scenes during the run of the show. Occasionally, Lin-Manuel Miranda might take the stage, dishing out freestyle rap based on suggested words picked out by the audience. In fact, the direction of the narrative of Freestyle Love Supreme is mostly determined by the audience present in the theater, which makes the phone-free experience worthwhile. The performance also usually includes a small musical skit that is based on someone from the audience, so you know what we meant when we said that this musical is unlike any other show.<\/p>\n
