Tips Before You go Skydiving in Sydney<\/h2>\n
Age Limit<\/b> – The minimum age to skydive in Australia, as per law is 12 years. Under 18 years old will require the presence of a parent or legal guardian on the day of the jump. While there is no maximum age limit, reasonable fitness is necessary.<\/p>\n
Weight Limit<\/b> – Anyone who is above 110 kg will be subjected to tandem master\u2019s assessment and Safety Officer approval, accordingly, instructors may or may not allow skydive. A surcharge will apply if the participant is or over 95 kg.<\/p>\n
What to Wear<\/b> – Loose, casual and comfortable clothing, along with sneakers. Heels or high boots are not allowed. Keep in mind that you will be provided with a custom jump pants to put over your clothes. During winters, fleeces and gloves are also provided.<\/p>\n
The Night Before<\/b> – You must not have consumed any drugs or alcohol in the eight hours preceding your skydive. You also cannot scuba dive 24 hours before skydiving.<\/p>\n
Weather<\/b> – Since skydiving will depend a lot on the weather, keep your day free and have no time constraints.<\/p>\nFrequently Asked Questions About Skydiving in Sydney<\/h2>\nWhat is the total duration of the Skydive Sydney experience?<\/h4>\n
While the freefall is just a few minutes, the entire experience which involves training, kitting and safety briefing could take anything between 3-4 hours. However, we suggest keeping a whole day aside since you can expect unforeseen delays due to events such as unfavourable weather and air traffic control.<\/p>\n
What do I do if my experience is cancelled due to bad weather?<\/h4>\n
If we have to cancel your jump due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, your booking will be re-scheduled to another date that suits you.<\/p>\n
Can I cancel my Skydive Sydney Tickets once I book them?<\/h4>\n
Unfortunately, these tickets have a strict cancellation policy and cannot be cancelled, amended or rescheduled once booked.<\/p>\n
Are my tickets inclusive of Skydiving Insurance?<\/h4>\n
Unfortunately, no. Your tickets are exclusive of an insurance policy but you can apply for one prior to your experience at your cost.<\/p>\n
Is there any additional fee I have to pay on-site?<\/h4>\n
Yes. All jumpers have to be registered online on the Australian Parachute Federation prior to their skydive at the location and new members will be required to pay an AUD35 membership fee. If you’re not a member, you will be required to pay this fee on-site. Your Headout tickets are not inclusive of this fee.<\/p>\n
