With a heartwarming score by Grammy Award winner Bryan Adams and his longtime songwriting partner Jim Vallance, the musical is sure to charm the audience with a brand new theatrical take on the old classic.

While the cast for the West End edition is yet to be announced, Pretty Woman on Broadway starred Samantha Barks from Les Miserables and Andy Karl from Groundhog Day. Pretty Woman on West End will feature scenic design by David Rockwell, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Kenneth Posner and Philip S Rosenberg, sound design by John Shivers, hair design by Josh Marquette, and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Will Van Dyke.

The Story

A contemporary take on the classic Cinderella story, Pretty Woman is a story about Vivian Ward, a prostitute who falls in love with Edward Lewis, a rich businessman. The unlikely pair meet in the rustic backdrop of Los Angeles, where Lewis — who makes business by buying and breaking companies — picks up Vivian in an act of spontaneity. After asking Vivian to stay for the weekend, the two get to know each other and slowly realize that there’s a lot more to both their lives. Watch the romantic, as well as comical situations, unfurl as Vivian and Edward look for modern-day solutions to bridge the gap between them.
