Madrid Royal Palace Reopening Date - 15th June 2020
In the mission to create a relaxed and safe space for all, the Madrid Royal Palace has introduced new rules and guidelines which needs to be strictly followed by every visitor.
New Rules & Safety Measures at the Madrid Royal Palace
For safety reasons, it is necessary for all visitors 6 and above to wear face masks throughout their visit. Occasional temperature checks will be conducted before entering the Palace. A safe distance of 2 meters must be maintained at all times within and outside the venue with the only exception of minors or elderly dependents.
Capacity has been reduced significantly to access each of the National Heritage monuments. Some rooms are temporarily unavailable until future notice. The locker service has been suspended. Guests will not be provided access to the monuments with objects larger than 30x20x20 cm. Access with food or drink has been strictly prohibited.
Hydroalcoholic solution dispensers have been installed at various points within the venue for guests to avail. For hygienic reasons and in order to limit contact audio guides, electronic group guidance devices, and brochures will not be in use. However, guests can download the App on their smartphone before making a visit.
The use of elevators have been strictly limited.

Everyday capacity has been significantly reduced which is why it is advised for all guests to place their reservations online before arriving at the venue. Contactless payment will be accepted at the ticketing counter.
Guided tours have been temporarily suspended until further notice.
