The castle was absolutely beautiful. But that garden!!! That's where we spent the longest time wandering around. So be careful not to accidentally turn left out of the exit from the castle (as we almost did.). A little before that on the right, you enter the beautiful garden. Be sure to go up the steps, too, for the view from above. We enjoyed it!

The queue was unfortunate but the gate staff coped admirably with such huge numbers. The orange trees. The parakeets eating the oranges! The architecture the well kept gardens. And most of all the lights show in the evening.

Everything was really great and our guide was top notch... My only regret is that the visit to the Church of the Divine Savior, which was included in the package for 2 people, was not taken and I had no explanation for this... Is there any way of getting a refund for this part of the tour that we didn't take?

The guide was outstanding. Only negative note there is not enough time to do all three in the same tour. We did the cathedral, girarda and alcazar. In three hours we could not enjoy the gardens because they closed early. I recommend buying the packages separately morning and afternoon to devote the whole day to visit these beautiful places.

El real alcazar is a must-visit! The visit is necessary to understand much of Andalusian culture, and, if you plan to visit Granada as well, you will see connections and historical bridges between the two cities that characterize the history of the place.
