• At the Acropolis site, there is no network signal, so please download the audio tour before your visit.

• Each audio tour stop is geo-located, so to listen to all the information provided, you have to wait for the narration to move forward to the next stop. You can skip stops by choosing the next or by choosing the one you want from the menu (top corner).

• Visitors are encouraged to use credit cards in all financial transactions in the museum.

• Backpacks and large bags must be left in the cloakroom where they will be disinfected using a steam appliance.

• The following museum services/facilities will no longer be offered to visitors until further notice: Family backpacks, baby strollers, wheelchairs, Reading Lounge on the second floor, and Parent’s Room on the first floor.

• Wear comfortable shoes as there is plenty of walking involved.

• It is recommended to carry sunscreen and a water bottle, especially during the summer.

• On Orthodox Good Friday, the Museum is open from 12pm to 6pm and on Orthodox Holy Saturday from 8am to 3pm.

Extended Opening Hours

• On the evenings of the August full moon and the European Night of Museums, the Museum is open until midnight.
