what to expect

The Dolphin Island is home to a host of Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, some of the most intelligent and fascinating marine mammals of the ocean. Dolphin Island offers experiences and encounters to get to know them up close, which is always a unique and special experience. Those at Dolphin Island hope, though, that these interactions, also known as engagement learning, combined with the right information about them, including their natural habitat, diets, behavior, anatomies and migration patterns will foster a deeper understanding and appreciation for marine life that will hopefully lead to a more sustainable marine environment in the future. Dolphin Island also delves into various areas of research and veterinary care to protect the species and would be happy to share more knowledge about their initiatives at the venue.

After a brief session regarding dos and don'ts with the dolphins, you will be split up into small groups with each group having a trainer assigned to them so that the experience is that much more intimate.

You will also have a dolphin assigned to your group, so you can interact with them, learn more about them from your group's trainer and have all your questions answered about their lifestyle and care for them.

This experience is suited to swimmers and non-swimmers, making it an inclusive experience for everyone!

The dolphins are incredibly friendly and the trainers care for them very deeply, which is visible throughout the session.There will also be a photographer present and documenting the entire session and you're free to select and purchase any photos you would like since unofficial photography is not allowed here. You're sure to leave the experience with a big smile on your face and, hopefully, a better understanding about these magnificent sea animals.

Timings

Dolphin Discovery Timings

The dolphin discovery experience happens at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 1:30 PM, 4:30 PM and 5:00 PM. The time slot you choose in the next stage of booking will be for the experience whereas your tickets for Adventure Cove are valid throughout the day during operational hours. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the program in your swimming attire at Dolphin Island Entrance and report at the guest services desk.

Adventure Cove Waterpark Timings

Adventure Cove Waterpark is open from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM daily until 31 Mar. In Apr & May it is open until 6 PM.

Reduced Price Tickets

Child tickets (children below 4-11 years of age) are available at a reduced price of S$88. Senior citizens can also buy discounted tickets at S$88. Please select the right profile type for your group during checkout. Also ensure that you are carrying a valid ID of the members in your group if you select any reduced price tickets during checkout.

Dress Code

Swimming attire is mandatory for Dolphin Experience.

Restrictions

Children must be at least 4 years old to participate.

For children below 110 cm in height or below the age of 12, they are required to be accompanied by 1 paying adult (above 21). This experience is suitable for non-swimmers as well.

Photography and videography are strictly prohibited. There will be a professional photographer present on site to capture the experience. Separate fees apply for purchasing these photographs.

No outside food and beverages are allowed within Adventure Cove water park or Dolphin Island.

All programmes are weather permitting and subject to change.

Getting There:

Adventure Cove Waterpark is located at 8 Sentosa Gateway, Sentosa Island, Singapore 098269.

To get to ACW by train take the Sentosa Express to the Waterfront station. By car, you can arrive by following the left lane on Sentosa Gateway. Individuals coming by bus please ride on route RWS 8 till 'The Forum'.

How to Redeem Your Tickets

You will receive an email with your Dolphin Discovery Experience with Adventure Cove Waterpark Tickets shortly. You need not take a print out. Please download the ticket and display it at the meeting point to redeem your physical admission tickets. Please carry a valid photo ID for identification.

Validity

Your Dolphin Discovery tickets are valid only for the date and time slot that you choose at the time of the booking. Your Adventure Cove Waterpark tickets are valid throughout the day during operational hours.
